Sony Ericsson Txt CK13i - A well balanced QWERTY from SE
Another day, another gadget for try out. Its time to review the new QWERTY phone in the mid segment phones. This phone was due for release in November 2011, but I was unable to get my hands on it before January 2012 before i finally got it from an online store at 6000. I was looking for this phone as a new year present for my fiancée. I ordered a sweet pink colored Txt and it is worth every penny spent on its looks. A well-balanced and neat keypad with apt space b/w keys. Have a look at the one I ordered...
Coming to its hardware, look how clean and smooth the keypad looks, and believe me, it is as smooth to use as it looks.
Out of available 4 colors, i loved the white, had I ordered it for myself, i would have opted for white, but pink is the color for my lady.
The numeric keypad is center aligned in Txt and the use of green color on white, red on blue, green on black and blue on pink keypad looks visually awesome. The issue with the keypad is only with the top quarter, which has 2 round curved keys, each one of which has to perform 2 functions each for menu, back, delete which can be a bit of problem in the initial days of use, but can be fine with time.
The top has 3.5 mm jack slot, and the back has a speaker which on one look seems like led flash, but has not so 'Sony Ericsson type sound quality' + a 3.2 mp camera and Sony Ericsson logo. The blue Txt below shows the back panel.
Coming on to the Tech Specs:
The phone is easy to use and has basic Sony Ericsson OS, the camera is good, sound is decent, looks 10 on 10, screen resolution good at this price.

rest is fine and this phone deserves a definite thumbs up. This is a very well crafted phone and balanced with great looks, keypad, softwares and 3.2 MP camera (again without flash :P as my Bloggie touch and Curve 3g). Overall I would rate 3.5/5
My recommendation – Yes!
