Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1
The latest in line from Samsung is its new tablet, called Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 which is the new version of the 10.1-inch Tab-series which was release along side the Note 3 last year. Going by the current design trends of Samsung, the Tab Pro has the same leather back but it is in fact a leather effect plastic at the back. In terms of its looks, it is almost identical to the Note 10.1 2014 edition but without the S Pen stylus.
It is just 7.3mm thick and weighs only 469g in its Wi-Fi only edition. But Samsung, sticking to its plastic casing again makes this feel low end in comparison to the iPad Air.
It's 10.1 inches LCD screen packs 2,560 x 1,600 pixels in resolution and provides excellent sharpness. So far this seems just like a Note 10.1 2014 without the stylus. However, Samsung has packed in a few software elements to give the 'Pro' title some weight.
Tech Specs
It has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip or an Octo-core Exynos 5-series chip for 3G/4G edition or the Wi-Fi only one respectively. It comes in 16GB and 32GB models but also houses a microSD memory card slot for expandable storage. It has an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and a 2-megapixel sensor on the front. It runs the latest of the Android software, the Android 4.4 KitKat OS with Samsung's new Magazine UI.
