Aluminum Lumia - Nokia Announces The Lumia 925

It is raining Lumias as Finnish phone maker today introduced its latest Lumia 925 flagship phone, and first time, the Lumia phone have a metal body. The phone runs the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 software. The Lumia 925 is a lot like the Verizon Lumia 928 which was announced last week, it has a big 4.5-inch AMOLED with 1280x768-resolution touchscreen, a dual-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8.7-megapixel camera. But it is made entirely of metal as compared to polycarbonate shell of 928.

Nokia has used a metal frame to house the antenna. While it is made of firmer materials than the other Lumias at only 139 grams, it doesn't have wireless charging built in to the back cover like Lumia 920 and 928. Nokia will sell wireless colorful charging cases if you wish to get the wireless power capability.

With the 925, Nokia is also introducing a new feature called Nokia Smart Camera, which captures 10 images at once, and then lets you edit the resulting photos with options such as Best Shot, Action Shot, and Motion focus for creating the ultimate finished image.
Smart camera will debut on the Lumia 925, but will eventually be released to all Lumia Windows Phone 8 smartphones.
