iPhone 6 Coming on September 9

Every year, the most awaited tech launch is none other than that of an upgraded iPhone. We had two  iPhones last year, one(iPhone 5C) of which faired pretty badly by iPhones standards. This year, seems no different as Apple is expected to launch 2 iPhones, and that too pretty soon, on September 9. It is expected to include a larger and largely redesigned form factor with 4.7" and 5.5" diagonal screens. The 4.7" model will be launched first on 9 September, and the other one with the 5.5" model following later on.

Both the iPhones will be released in September. The highlights are the Sapphire crystal screen and a Faster and more efficient A8 chip, along with the iOS 8. The expected variants are 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for both the versions. What we don't know are the list of things below:

Which iPhone will be discontinued. It is to be noted that iPhone 5 was discontinued just one year after its launch, but iPhone 4S made its way through another year. Though, iPhone 4S is expected to discontinue this year, but the speculations are over the iPhone 5C as well as it hasn't performed too well compared to the other iPhones.

Also, will the iPhone 5S continue to exist? Will Apple stick to a number of iPhones, that too in premium range, though all the iPhones have always been in the premium range, iPhone 5C despite labelled as the cheap iPhone was costlier than some of the top end HTC, Samsung, Nokia smartphones, but it eventually fell short on expectations.

Other thing to be noted is the naming convention this year. Will it be an iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S or iPhone 6C?
